Puzzle building process and basics
Puzzle assembly varies depending on the puzzle, and we provide recommended assembly methods based on each design. While assembling a puzzle can sometimes be challenging, it’s incredibly rewarding and in our opinion, one of the best parts of building puzzles.
With 3D-printed puzzles, a short break-in period is usually needed to achieve smooth turning. Applying lubricant can greatly improve performance and reduce catching. These puzzles also improve over time, naturally becoming looser with use. For adjustability, all of our puzzles include screw holes so you can tune the tension. If the final piece is difficult to insert, loosening the puzzle can help.
